War is NOT romantic!!! Just ask a mother, wife, child or anyone who's lost their hero or a comrade who's seen his buddies fall in the battlefield. Should our troops be in Iraq? If you think not then sign the petition to congress on above site. No matter what the cause, take a stand for what you believe for some peace of mind. Michael told me just a few months before he passed he thought he was a warrior in a previous life. He undoubtly was a warrior in this one!
Being Indian is what's in the heart not the quantity in your blood. Michael's maternal Great grandfather was full blood (his father full Cherokee and mother half Cherokee and half Sioux). Michael felt this in his spirit and embraced his Native American heritage. My Indian name for him is Turtle because he always won the race in the end no matter what the struggle and he had many. Michael and I would listen to this CD for hours www.walela.com/ The song that plays is Michael for me. Let it load.
Our Turtle Life started out so simple and slow, who could of known in a flash it would be gone? Here one day gone the next, who would of known you'd be gone in a flash? You were our day, night and shining star, we never thought of you being gone. Then out of the night sky, the Great Spirit told you it was time to fly. Our Son, Brother and Friend, now were left with no defenses. We would have fought had we known the Great Spirit was coming to take you home. Were left now with the memories of all the days we use to dance and sing. We feel your presence every now and then, but we yearn for your touch as you mean so much. Your happy in Heaven this we know, because in your little ways your always telling us so. Have fun and be good Heaven didn't realize the teaser they were getting from earth. So try not to prank them too much. Moma Bear
Our Hero Heroes come in many shapes and sizes, serving many purposes in the lives of those they came to meet. Whether big or small, short or tall, nationality and religion matter none at all. They were chosen special by the hand of God, to serve, comfort, guide and protect. Their duties are many that they will not let fall, so life is not easy as their load is heavy. The Lord knows the burden these heroes carry. So He calls them home early to rest and play, for the glorious celebration on Christmas day. God has a special need for these chosen ones. While they loved those they served on earth, nothing is like the assignment for Heaven's work. They are still caring for those they loved, only now with God's direct supervision and love. So their able to do more for those in their care, as a hero never forgets the creed they vowed.
Our hero is six foot tall with hair of gold and eyes of blue. He is our son, brother and best friend too and he always had a smile for you! He let you know he loved you even when you disappointed him so. With his grin so filled of heart and eyes full of wisdom, he let you know you were not fulfilling God's plan, which is the purpose of this land. We miss you Michael!! Moma Bear The following address is a tribute that I've added here in love, pride and honor of both my son's. One still of this earth with all the struggles life has for him to endure. The other soaring like an eagle in the sky with wings of gold. Both are heroes. http://www.link4u.com/kissedmyson.htm
Your troubles are over now Mikey Bear, rest and play in peace. However, be waiting for us by Heaven's Gates when God calls our name. Help Matty to see and have the strength to follow the path he must walk here knowing it will lead him to you someday. Our Brotherly Bond Brother's in the bond of love, blood, heart and soul. We were inseperable the story be told. Poor Sissy was the firstborn instead of the last, so protected she didn't need as she'd whip our a$$ in a flash. So we teamed up and got the better of her (sometimes). We didn't exclude Mom either and she'd yell "quit tag teaming me."
Mom referred to us as "the boys" and sometimes confused us too. She'd get so mad trying to yell at one of us, but couldn't get out Mike or Matt. It sounded more like, "Mi..I mean Ma...no Mike..., you know which one I'm talking to!!" We delighted in this and tormented her all the more.
Often we tormented each other which gained us strength you see, it was practice for our later targets. But in the meantime, our fighting still gave everyone grief. As we'd turn the house upside down with our arguing. We were inseperable at the best and worst of times, Grandma Blackburn said "my five boys didn't fight nearly as much."
We did everything together and loved more than we fought. We were closer than twins bonded in our brotherly love, and our love for each other was sometimes too much, as now the pain over losing my brother is a suffocating grief. It teases and taunts me with the fact I can still breathe when my whole being is just screaming for some release.
But the only release is to have my brother back, which I know will never be. And I have to live on for Conner Michael you see, there's no choice in the matter for me. Conner will carry on Michael's legacy.
Dedicated to Mike in honor of his brother's love. Written by; Moma Bear Sissy's Hugs Always & Forever Sissy's Hugs The days were busy, the nights were long, but you were never alone. Sissy was there to love, kiss and keep you safe, through all her hugs everyday.
By your side she always stayed, through thick and thin, whether night or day. She was your mainstay when times were tough, with a hug for you each and everyday.
In her heart you'll always be, and forever more will remain. She loved you then, she loves you now, still hugging you after you've gone.
She just can't quit hugging after all this time, this was her right, her worldly divine. So stay close to her now and let her know, you still feel her hugging you so.
She loved you then as she loves you now, never forgetting the bond you's found. May that always stay, be as it was, She needs to always give you a hug. To Mike in Honor of His Sister's Love Written by Moma Bear WHERE IS MY UNCLE MIKE?
You tell me everyday how great he was, My Uncle Mike was always the one. The one to be there, always a friend, That's your Uncle Mike you said.
Where is he now that I need him so, my child said with a heart of sorrow. In reply, I looked and stared, He's in the sun, the earth, the wind and the air.
He has never left your side. Uncle Mike will always be your guide. He's right beside you no matter what your need. So look ahead, not behind, He will always be right by your side.
Uncle Mike written by Moma Bear The Cord We're connected, my child and I, By an invisible cord not seen by the eye. It's not like the cord that connected us till birth. This cord can't be severed by anyone on earth, This cord does its work right from the start, It binds us together attached at the heart. I know that it's there though no one can see, The invisible cord from my child to me. The strength of the cord is hard to describe, It can't be destroyed. It can't be denied. It's stronger than any cord man can create, It withstands the test and can hold any weight. And though you are gone, not here with me, The cord is still there, but no one can see. It pulls at my heart. I am bruised...I am sore. But this cord is my lifeline as never before. I am thankful that God connected us this way.

Michael's Angel Buddy http://www.sean-lockhart.memory-of.com One day I could of sworn I heard Sean and Michael laughing together. Sean is sending his Maman a rainbow baby and Mikey sent us one Davis!
http://www.smilesr4u.com/to_be_born.htm http://www.smilesr4u.com/just.htm A rainbow baby is sent by God as a reminder of the recently lost loved one.The rainbow itself is God's promise that all will be well and signifies hope and peace. It has been said, "when a loved one dies another takes his place," German saying. The Native Americans believe earth and all of creation is and remains in a circle. There is no beginning nor end. Look around you, everything operates this way. No matter what knowledge is gained or theories tested, the world has and will continue in this manner. "What goes around comes around." Those are words of wisdom that came from those who understand life will always continue endlessly in a circle. The rainbow is a circle!! The rainbow child is a blessing in and of themselves. And more so because our loved one earned and received this request for this gift from God for his family. This is a gift of the highest honor! The rainbow symbolizes association with the spiritual world, the bridge/gateway between here and Heaven.
The colors of the rainbow represent many things: Red is for vitality, courage and represents leading. Orange is for cheerfulness, confidence and represents energy. Yellow is for wisdom, mentality and represents character. Green is for balance and love and represents healing. Blue is for knowledge, health and represents harmony. Indigo is for intuition, understanding and represents growth. Violet is for creativity, inspiration and represents spirituality. White is for purity, truth and represents the Divine Light. John Davis, our rainbow baby represents all these things and was sent here by the power of love, hope, faith and goodness. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
 **Michael's Heavenly Buddies** http://www.geocities.com/msfid/group.html? 1106762969921
Look for Michael in the center of the page on the first site. Wouldn't you know he'd have to be right in the middle of things, born in the middle and center of attention, ha, ha! He likes to aggrevate me alot when I'm working on his site. Everything will be all off center and then suddenly right itself. His way of letting me know he's present! Another thing that is odd is his angel date keeps coming up the 6th instead of the 16th. On the link above it is the 6th with a small black dot in front of it. I felt Michael's presence before he passed. In retrospect it's as if another dimension of his spirit was there with me.

Mikey and a couple Heavenly Friends wishing us a good day! This always makes me smile when I'm missing him. It's alright! http://www.superlaughecards.com/1/itsalright.htm

http://www.wtv-zone.com/AnniesTreasures/embrace.html Great resource site! http://www.andiesisle.com/BricksFromTheAshes.html Beautiful and inspirational song! October is domestic violence awareness month and the purple ribbon symbolizes such. Domestic violence is not a women issue, it is a societal one!! Too often many ask, "why does she stay?" She stays for various reasons, number one being more women get killed leaving the situation. The question is why does he hit?!! The responsibility is with the abuser, not the one being abused! While there is no denying men have and are also abused in some cases, these are not nearly as high as the reverse. If this is such in your case I'm sure the links above will provide some assistance in either case. Let's all be aware and take the stand that domestic violence is not tolerable under any conditions. Wear your purple ribbon in October to show your support!!!
